Amber Rich: Amber colored syrup with more pronounced maple flavor. This grade is the most commonly used as table syrup.
Dark Robust: This dark syrup has a bold maple flavor. It can be used for cooking or table syrup.

Pure Maple Syrup is made from the sap of a maple tree.  When the sap comes out of the tree, it is mostly water(only 1%-2% sugar).  To make syrup most of the water has to be removed by boiling until it reaches approximately 67%-68% sugar.
